Social schedule

The 3rd Door keeps us young on the outside and the inside. While our fitness program offers a way to stay healthy in a fun and challenging environment, we also invite our members to participate in our “less physical” programming. We offer weekly and monthly lectures, classes, discussion groups and other “down time” activities, including a book club, a speaker series, bridge instruction, game night and a painting group.

Here is a list of the programming activities that we are currently offering:

speaker series

A monthly program featuring guest speakers.

book club

A monthly program headed up by our own in-house “Oprah”.

bridge instruction

Kathy Harper will provide bridge instruction for beginners to those who are already sharp players. Visit our calendar to check out when instruction at your level is being offered and applicable prices. You may also contact Kathy directly for more information at kharper100@aol.com.

practice bridge

Weekly bridge sessions open to all bridge players, novice, intermediate and expert. Watch for special couples nights and lessons for men at our “Beer and Bridge” night.

game night

You can be sure that our queens of games will keep us busy, competitive, and full of childhood memories.

fitness forum

Join us for a weekly discussion group lead by one of our fitness specialists where we discuss our goals and experiences.

wanda moms

Each month the clients participating in the WANDA savings program are invited to The 3rd Door to socialize and hear a speaker on a life skills topic.

sip and paint

Here is your chance to let your creative juices flow - no judgment, no expectations, only fun. Our artist friends of The 3rd Door will guide us past our fears to help us find our true inner artist.
